Rest… I am Watching over You
Saroj I’ve been told that the correct position for Threading is to have the client seated upright in a chair and that as a therapist I should recline the chair if necessary to adjust for body height etc. (similar to having your hair shampooed in a salon). But a colleague who studied with Prana said that you don’t approach it that way. Why?
Thanks, Sally
“When we sleep, we lay down our sorrows”
Sally here’s the thing: clients can’t ‘let go’ and relax in a chair, even when it is reclined. And in any procedure (any at all including Threading), whatever therapists have been taught comes second to what clients experience. In my own experience, when clients drift off to sleep trusting in my care (even for 5 minutes), the rewards for them are profound and for me as a professional they are immeasurable.
Be different, dream different Sally… Saroj
