Paying it Forward

Lately, more and more beauty therapy students are choosing our Courses in order to augment their formal training curriculums. I am pleased to provide them a more indepth, one-on-one learning opportunity because as I have said before, if you want to grow to your full potential as a therapist; the learning never ends…

So learning is everything; obviously. Yet still, I have been asked “Why would you share your knowledge so freely? Wouldn’t that create more competition”?

I understand the question but my answer is No! Think of it this way: no two people will create the same dish even if they have followed its recipe to the letter. Just so, the very best salons will encourage you to ‘be yourself’… they know that beyond learnt skills the physical (hands-on) and emotional connection with the person in your care will have subtle differences every time; and that each of their clients will respond in kind and ask for you. That is good!

So be confident in your difference. Love it. And whenever you can, pay it forward.

  • Decisions, decisions…

It’s true, most of our important decisions are based on what can be done within budget (buying or building a house being one of the best examples of that).
