Stiff Shirt Sequel

The Stiff Shirt: the Sequel

Sir

In 2016 I tendered a complaint with respect to your treatment of my wife at Prana Applecross. For your records I include that correspondence. Recent events have however made it necessary for me to draw your attention to the following – to whit: the posting of the above photograph on social media in which I am depicted as grovelling in a sexualised demeanour (one cannot term it any other way) at the feet of my wife.

Sir, it is one thing for Prana to offer my previously docile and uncomplaining wife beauty treatments which awaken her sensuality – quite another to indulge her whims for ‘trophy’ photographs which are, as we speak, a social media storm being viewed by all and sundry. I now demand that you remove said photographs, and issue a formal apology.

Dear Sir

Thank you. We are cognisant of your position and have consulted with our legal team. Their advice is that the publication of the images on social media which you refer to are outside of our control and regretfully a matter between you and your wife.
On a personal note, we have the greatest respect for your situation. In our view however the benefits you have both enjoyed are now obvious. Your wife is a vibrant woman who (whilst unadvised) has chosen to share her awakening. We grant that such moments are normally private; however the photographs (actually, you came over quite well) were not instigated or facilitated by Prana.
Man to man? The blossoming of your wife has been profound… she is now celebrating her womanhood (and frankly not before time).

Saroj and I are quietly proud to have played a part in facilitating a marriage that has blossomed.

In our view, the social media ‘storm’ (as you put it) will abate very quickly. Meanwhile, Saroj and I trust that you will take pleasure in what you have been given and rejoice in it.

A. and S. Velho. Prana
