After Ayurvedic Massage

How marvellous it is when my clients fall into a deep and satisfying sleep soon after an Ayurvedic massage! There is a dreamlike quality to their even breathing which tells me that I have done my job. I am grateful that the rhythmic movements, the firm and gentle attention to healing body, mind and spirit has induced such profound peace…

Restoring mind, body and spirit

They remain in my care, only gently awakened if I know they must be somewhere at a given time and offered refreshments before they leave. Yet still, some (mostly new clients it must be said) rouse and apologise… it was ‘a lapse’ and they are ‘sorry to have taken my time’…

There is no ‘lapse’ – sleep is restorative. All is well.

Be content. There is nothing to apologise for. It is all part of the healing process.
