Prana Logo Story

The Prana Logo Story

Before we could write, we told stories to each other. These stories often expressed what we experienced, how we felt about it and what we learnt. The most important of these became our histories passed on from generation to generation. Some of those stories were told through images and symbols and it was through those that we connected, learnt and made sense of our world.

Our Logo

Our Prana logo symbolises and embodies our story, our place, and who we are.

Prana Logo

Walking into Prana, your eye is immediately drawn to the logo on the wall, the representation of four symbols, which are framed and outlined by the circle, being the fifth symbol. These five spaces or elements, are the soul of Ayurveda and serve a twofold purpose by also representing the five senses, epitomising your own experiences when embarking on your Prana journey.

Ayurveda

Ayurveda the Sanskrit word meaning “The Science of Life”, dates back thousands of years and at its core, is based on the concept that general health and wellness rely on the delicate balance between mind, body and spirit.

The Mother of All Healing

Often called “The Mother of All Healing”, Ayurveda follows the principle that all things in the universe, both living and non-living are joined together and that everything is made up of the five elements: space, air, fire, water and earth. These elements are represented in our logo by the circle encompassing  the four  shapes, symbolising the remaining four elements, all contributing to the entirety and harmony of our design.

Balance

Ayurvedic philosophy views good health as retaining balance; within ourselves, to the people surrounding us, our environment and to the universe. With this in mind we focus on you individually in your entirety, your well-being and your harmony by nourishing your five senses which are also personified within our logo and our aesthetically designed spaces.

The Senses

Capturing your eye with our elegant blue and gold colour scheme, the design and décor provides your sense of sight with a soothing reprieve, from the visual stimulus that is the norm in our busy lives. Our undivided attention and caring touch, employing rhythms and techniques long established through the principles of healing, provide both an emotional and physical response to the transfer of healing energy.

The sounds you hear and the scents that you smell are carefully selected to augment the serenity and harmony experienced throughout your treatments. Balance is also found in an intimate relationship with taste which you may experience through our Ayurvedic teas and hydration options offered freely during your time with us.

Serving You

We are proud that our Prana logo tells our story, as we seek to make your life; more tranquil, healthier, happier and meaningful, by serving you, in our place….. Prana.
