Skincare for Perth. Good sense and good health!
Nature sends messages a plenty about how we are fairing generally through our skin, nails, hair, eyesight etc.
When our skin is dull or prone to breakouts for instance, it is a signal that topical skincare alone is not enough and that we have to employ some other methods.
Yes, facials have an immense benefit on the skin – rejuvenating tired cells and clearing away surface pollution – but good quality, nature-based skincare products alone won’t dispel underlying health deficiencies or neglect.
Just as in fitness training, the results you get are greatly enhanced through a sensible, holistic, planned approach.
Better Skincare
5 golden rules between salon visits
- Make sure you get enough rest. And, regardless of how busy you are, 15 minutes of meditation during the day is good for body and soul; giving both the ‘space’ to recover, regroup and replenish.
- Importantly, drink plenty of water. Dehydration is the number one reason for headaches, mental confusion and fatigue. Increasing our water intake is also a natural skincare routine we can all afford! Target a minimum of 3 litres of water a day.
- Enjoy your treats but in the main remember to eat nutrient-dense food… good sense on so many fronts but especially to alleviate sluggish digestion, uncomfortable bloating and build-up of fats.
- Move your body in steady, purposeful and regular exercise. Target a minimum of 30 minutes 3 times a week.
- Lastly, the occasional Far Infrared Sauna session is not only a workout without lifting a finger but maximises all you’ve done to create the right environment for your skin.
Follow the skincare rules
It’s all about balance! Follow these golden rules and your skin will glow with natural health, will function properly and replenish itself because it has been given the foundation for wellbeing.
