namaste thank you

The Power of “Thank You”

In Western society, saying Thank You is much like ‘Namaste‘… the prayerful greeting which acknowledges, respects, and thanks you. How powerful it is!

So beautiful…

A friend of mine once sat sadly in her local hair salon… pensive, unhappy and seemingly engrossed in her book while her hair dried. As the lady sitting next to her rose to leave she gently touched my friend on the shoulder. Wordlessly, she used the power of touch to show that she saw, acknowledged, cared about and respected… a complete stranger.

For me, this demonstrates most beautifully the principle of ‘Namaste. I thank her eternally, and I recommend it to everyone!

  • Life: out of the blue

A friend of mine thinks Life is just life; neither good nor bad. It just is. She may be right but now and again I can’t help remembering the times that Life sent a gift out of the blue. For no apparent reason it sent people I should take notice of (or even once or…
