Contrary to popular belief, Valentines Day is not meant solely for young couples. In fact beyond that heady stage in life, I think there is even more reason to remember and acknowledge our best friends, our soul mates, lovers and partners in life. So this year, even though I didn’t get to enjoy a delicious lie in and breakfast in bed (too much to do!). I made sure to say “Thank you for being in my life” and of course, “I love you”…

My rule each year? Keep it simple, remember it’s HIS day too, and enjoy each other…
